Nouvel Hôpital Civil Strasbourg
In the heart of Strasbourg the hospital complex forms a "city within a city". The new surgical centre estabishes a dialogue between the architecture from the various epochs as evidenced by the use of the materials steel, glass and wood.
The project is characterised by compactness, operational efficiency and duality.

"Hallen am Borsigturm" Berlin
The catalyst for the urban planning competition was the redevelopment of a historic industrial park.
The goal of the new plan was to open up the site towards both the city and the river. Today there are shops, a cinema complex, recreational areas and offices located within the former factory buildings.

Chambre de Commerce Luxembourg
The Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce´s building needed to be expanded to five times it´s orginal size.
Two very narrow volumes bracket the existing buildings; four parallel wings joined by a glass gallery anchor the complex to the north.

Claude Vasconi´s architecture is distinguishable primarily through the powerful statement his buildings make. This stems from the clarity and boldness of his vision on urban design.

Vasconi is a modernist.

His architecture is predominantly characterised by strong lines, the art of the protecive shell, the state of duality and the quest for sustainability.

Continuity and coherence are the guiding principles of Vasconi´s work, from preliminary design through to construction.
Quality, functionality and efficiency are the basic themes addressed during the creation of his buildings.
